1st Light Painting Session

We start of after school anniversary night show about 10:20pm on Sunday, June 27.
Gathered around the center basketball court to get started.
Every PhotoGigs members attended!

This is a test shot to show those members who doesn't know why we were here today taking pictures at this late night.
Hong Zhi's the one writing the word "HELLO".
The letter "O" went missing since it's a test shot, we didn't measure up where it should be written.

The term PhotoGigs

The name of our group is suggested by a group member Pang Li and, we all liked it!
So, I went Googled the term "PhotoGigs" since the domain PhotoGigs.com was purchased by someone in the United States.
What I'm worrying about is we don't wanna use a name which is used by somebody else.
The google search result was like...

That website is currently down and I'm not sure what happened to it.
And then I found something else with the term "PhotoGigs".
They have a twitter account and a facebook page.

The Facebook page is currently can only be found in Google's cache and they only have 14 people who's interested in it on facebook by 8th of June.
If you guys are wondering, that twitter page is not us.

The term "PhotoGigs" also appear as some photographer's website.
Some of them has been inactive for months.

Lets hope that we don't offense those people using the name "PhotoGigs".
We're looking forward to acquire the domain name PhotoGigs.com by the end of November.

2nd Lesson - Aperture

It's the 2nd lesson we had with FT Studio.
The lesson today is about Aperture.

The lower the aperture is, the more obvious the bokeh effect is.

1st Outing featuring FT Studio

We heard about a person who is related to a student in school and they're giving out free photography course. The course takes place at Melaka Mall.

There was somebody else other than us enrolling into the course.

The course is sponsored by FT Studios.
